Messengers 2 Trailer

This is a trailer we created for our new short film Anton Owens and i created over first semester. Sadly the short film was not a very big success due to the story just not making much sense. We originally had an idea to create an epic sequel to the first but unfortunately it became a failed sequel. Other than that disappointment that really has gotten on my nerves i have learned some really important directing skills and managing skills throughout this film. I learned that Time management is a huge priority of film that was sort of lacking throughout this project. In the trailer we wanted to incorporate the mystery of who the new character Thomas was and then tease the audience with The hunters helmet being removed sightly and then cutting to The end black screen.

No Purchase Necessary

I have written another script lately for the all school short film. There was a lot f stress that is going into this script and it is really teaching me the main basics of screen written format which i am slowly learning as a junior in high school. A writers room was formed and ideas were shot around of what exactly we wanted for our story, so we eventually decided we wanted to create a dark humor. This allowed many frustrations and debates between the writers room but we eventually figured it all out and came up with a solid idea of robbing gas stations for bottle caps to win the sweepstakes. It was such an absurd idea but allowed for many options for the overall story, Currently i am a total of 11 pages of the script and working really hard to finish this for next semester.

MLK Video

 For a school assignment we were required to create a Martin Luther King Jr. Video giving the main theme of Hatred paralyzes life; Love releases it. Hatred Confuses life; Love harmonizes it. Hatred darkens life; Love illuminates it. This Gave us an idea for the project to create two main characters, one representing the dark side of life and the other representing the light side of life. Throughout the video we really focused on making the shots of each character reflect their personalities with either dark or light shots. We decided that we wanted to incorporate some emotional music to really connect the audience to the characters. This was not our best project but we really wanted to experiment with unique shots and get a good cinematography based film.  

Tribulation script

This is a script i have started writing throughout the past month. I decided i wanted to keep experiencing the layout of screen written format, which is very unique and difficult but easy at the same time. Screen written format is one of the most recently adopted forms of writing and is very simplistic to the point where its almost complicated due to going back to story format.

In this script i wrote i was inspired by the newest movie Hunger Games: MockingJay Part 2. After seeing that movie i felt very connected to the characters so i sat down and started to brainstorm how i could develop my own characters. Throughout the process i came up with some pretty unique names such as Skye and Caleb. The Story has been given the title of tribulation for its main topic a horror nightmare senario. The script ended up being a total of 25 pages and became a well thought out story of characters going through an emotional journey.
