post cards

These are my postcards i made in adobe photoshop. In the first postcard i decided to create a christmas psotcard because its getting close to christmas and i wanted ton make a nice christmas card i could use for myself. The second postcard i made was a simple track card that i made to show off what i do and represent my favorite sport, i came up with a motto to the picture and used a lot of text edits on this postcard. I have always enjoyed editing text ad making it look different. the final postcard i designed is the new Zealand card. i picked new Zealand cause it is the one place i want to go in the world. it is also home of the lord of the rings movies and i enjoyed those movies very much. In this postcard i took a simple approach and put the title of the card and morphed the a little bit to a simple arch. I also took different images of new Zealand i found and duplicated them into the image. out of al of these postcards the christmas one is my favorite because it has more of a unique feel to it and its a little bit fancier.  

creative sphere

This is my creative sphere that i made in adobe photoshop. I got behind on work and didn't have time to finish my sphere. I looked up a tutorial to do this and got more experience in gradients. In this sphere i think it needed a lot more work to be completed and to get more work to give it the full 3D effect of a sphere. I feel comfortable with gradients now and can do more with it.

this is my creative sphere i made in adobe illustrator. I'm proud of the shadow i made on this sphere i feel like it very well captures the way the ball is resting on the ground. i found this hard because i do not enjoy shadows or gradients, it is my least favorite thing to do while making spheres.

Floating Sky Mountian

Battle Of Mt. Herocine (hero-scene)   

For my floating mountain project i decided to make it with planes going down. I added in the planes because it is a battle by the sky mountain. Planes are the most common things that would be beside a floating mountain. It is pixilated but i feel proud of it. I would have made it better if i had more time in class to edit it and remove a lot of the pixilation.

music video 90 sec

i feel like this was a much harder music video to edit because it was so much shorter. our original video was 3 minutes long so we had to take out a lot of scenes and cut a lot of good scenes out that i like. i did like the how much smoother and faster it was this time around. i was able to add in things to this one that i didn't in the last one including black and white tint for the flashback. i also changed up the flashback transition and made it a little quicker and more interesting. i changed it because the last video it looked uncentered and just way to long and weird. all together tho i like this video so much more than the last one.

photoshop ball

These are my spheres i made in adobe illustrator and photoshop. The spheres were very difficult to make for me because i have a hard time with shadows and making them look correct. I feel accomplished with my spheres. I would prefer adobe illustrator over photoshop just cause i find it easier to use and more in the software to use to create the perfect 3d sphere.

music video

in this project we made a music video. our group chose the song feel again by one republic. Our group worked very well together. This video was difficult to make because it took lot of little edits. the purpose for our music video was to show some teenage friends coming together for the first time in a long time and remembering their past life. The beginning of the video starts off with a girl setting up a party and soon her friends show up. Her freinds are 2 guys played by Brett Rawlings and Trey Seaba. throughout the video the teens are partying and they start to remember the child life. the video transitions from the party to the past which was filmed in a different location. the actors act younger and they show the way they were as kids and have fun just messing around. the flashback ends and transitions back to the modern day and they finish the party and clean up. The friends head home and the girl realizes what she actually misses. They all were feeling again their past child life and thats why we chose the song. this video was well done and we tried to film in different locations to get a unique feel.
