Batman Poster
Process:
The process of my movie poster was very difficult to think of because it took a lot of time trying to incorporate a simple idea of batman rising into a simple poster. We based our classes ideas off of Saul bass, a very famous Graphic designer. i used many different ways of using the bat symbol in the poster, the way i picked in the poster above best suits the main idea of the movie by showing the symbol rising over the city.
Challenges:
This project brought me some challenges throughout making it. One of my biggest challenges was the text, i wanted to get a text that showed how the city was in destruction without actually showing a destroyed city. Making the text i continued to run into problems with making it stand out and actually look good with the rest of the poster. I finally found the best way to make the text stand out and still fit with the colors by using an inner glow for the text which brought a very cool affect.
Reflection:
I enjoyed this project a lot because i took one of my favorite superhero movies and got to transform it into a original classic looking poster. This project got me to appreciate the idea of sail basses work by showing me the complexity that is hidden behind the simple poster. This was by far one of my most favorite projects i have done this year.http://www.saulbassposterarchive.com

Creative font
This is my Font i made in adobe illustrator. In this project i learned how to make different fonts and different and creative ways to organize text. I decided to make the E be connected with both my first and last name. I personally think it looks good because it has a unique look to it and is very clear that the E goes for both the first name and last name.

Top Ten Things Poster
Challenges:Some challenges i had were trying to find out the top ten things I couldn't live without. It took me many days to find out what design i was gonna use for the poster. Through the few days of looking through other websites to learn how to make the layout of my grid i finally found one to use by organizing them myself in my own pattern.

kerning
kerning is the spacing between the letters and how it is evenly spaced. we played a game that took our skills of kerning and made us see how close we could get to perfect. i got a hundred percent on the spacing between xylophone.
